Special Announcements
| Neighborhood Plan and Historic District Nomination | The University Hill Farms Board of Directors approved submitting an application to the City for Neighborhood Grant monies at their meeting of Feb. 11, 2012. The application is to fund hiring consultant services to: prepare a Hill Farms Neighborhood Plan; and; to prepare the detailed information to nominate the Hill Farms area for designation as an historic district. Consultant efforts are anticipated to take place from about July 2012 through December 2013, if funding is approved for each of these projects. | University Ave. / Whitney Way Krupp Redevelopment Project | The property on University Avenue and Whitney Way formerly owned by Erdman Development Group has been transferred to Krupp General Contractors, who is taking the lead on redeveloping the property. Initial development is proposed to include UW Health facilities, as well as mixed-use development.
