Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to have a PayPal account?
No, when you go to the PayPal page, there is an option below the PayPal login to make a one-time credit/debit card payment without creating a PayPal account.
Can I make an online payment through another service such as Google Wallet?
At this time, PayPal is the only option for paying UHFA dues online. PayPal was chosen because it is a secure, trusted service that accepts a variety of payment methods without requiring individuals to sign up for a new account. It was the most convenient payment processing option for our residents and our association.
Why is there a $1 service charge to pay dues online?
PayPal charges us a per-transaction fee to process payments. In order to offset those costs while offering the convenience of online payments, we have added this service charge.
How will my online payment appear on my credit card statement?
The transaction will appear on your statement as "PayPal * PAYPAL *HILL FARMS" or "University Hill Farms Association."
Can I get a receipt?
After making your online payment, you should receive an email receipt from PayPal confirming the payment.
What do the annual member dues cover?
The annual $10 fee (per household) supports the following neighborhood activities:
- University Hill Farms Newsletter (published quarterly)
- The current edition of the University Hill Farms Neighborhood Directory
- July 4th Parade and Picnic (food, beverages, entertainment and prizes are provided)
- Neighborhood Garage Sale
- Halloween Parade and Party (food and beverages are provided)
- Santa Visits (treats are provided to children age 10 and under)
- The right to vote in Hill Farms Neighborhood Association elections
