The University Hill Farms Neighborhood Association sponsors several social events throughout the year.
The best-known event is the Fourth of July parade and picnic, held annually in Rennebaum Park. Paid-up members are invited to partake of the food (bratwursts, hamburgers, hot dogs, and so on) and entertainment (games, a clown, and a DJ). Children on bikes are especially welcome in the parade. Another beloved event is the annual Santa visit, conducted a week or two before Christmas by neighborhood volunteer "Santas". Paid-up members with small children can request that Santa pay a visit in person to their house.
